Hello everyone..I know I have been MIA for a while now..
I am very busy with work..Holiday Shopping & Winter's Birthday is coming up

I think I am pretty much done with shopping, but I haven't started wrapping up anything and/or mailing gifts to cousins who are in the mainland
I still have to do that, I know it might not make it before Xmas but at least
for them to get it before the end of the year

Winter's birthday party is almost set. I can't believe that she is turning 3..
Sadly, Daddy won't be home..sighs...5 months down..9 more to go..sighs again..
it is crazy, sometimes I just want to break down & cry..but that's how it is..gotta deal with it.

Ok enough of the complaining..I will try to update and put up some pictures after her party. If I dont get to post anything sooner...

* Work was okay..same bs everyday with military personnel hehe
* Took my car to Mazda dealership to fix some stuff..waited for about 2 hours..it wasn't bad there was wifi..and tv that i changed to PBS kids in the waiting room
* went to the post office to mail a box to my hubby
* started pouring - and of course as i expected - there's traffic!
* My little sister is 20 mins late for her hula practice
* I decided to wait here for her 1.5 hr practice instead of going home and coming back to pick her up
* I'm stealing someone's connection right now so it's good hehe

* Holiday tomorrow - Veteran's day! - yeeyy i'm working haha..i love working on holidays!

Halloween

I know it's a little bit late but here are some pictures from Halloween. I took Winter and my other cousins to the mall for Trick or Treat. On the way to the mall we were 9 in my mini Mazda 5 haha..it's a 6 seater! Sorry didn't get to take a picture how I was able to fit 9 people there. We went to Ala Moana Mall.

But yes we all had fun getting candies. Winter was very excited because last year we did went to the mall in San Diego but it was only the two of us hehe.

Mi familia - mama, papa, sisters & the bf - minus my hubby

busy, tired & sleepy

just to let everyone know whoever visits my blog..that i'm okay..i'm still here..just very very busy working..career woman na ulit ang lola haha..after 2 years na sahm..im back to work again.
thanks to my family at libre ang babysitter ni winter..so far ive worked 9 days total..and 7 days straight ng walang off..sugapa ba sa oras? haha di naman..short lang kami sa tao..so im taking whatever days that my manager wants me to work..of course im working tomorrow..columbus day! yeyy holiday pay! haha... super tired nga lang ako..at 4-5 hours na lang ang tulog ko everyday, yes i used to get 8 hours of sleep haha..batugan!
soo hope everyone who are in the states who are off tomorrow..enjoy the rest of the 3 day weekend! and to all visitors here..thank you..keep stopping by here. i promise i will get back to all of you soon. take care!!

busy busy busy

thanks everyone that visited...i've been busy again..
i finally started working again..after 2 years of sahm & 3 months of waiting for the call from human resources
my cousins that went to Manila for a visit stopped by here for a few days..So my weekend was really busy spending time with them (as usual pictures will follow later..hehe)
I love going to work..but it just break my heart every time i say bye to her when I leave for work..
i'm still adjusting..my body is adjusting again to waking up at a certain time of the day..i work days in which my shift starts at 5am till 1pm..i love my working schedule that is why i chose to go back there. I still have a lot of time the rest of the day to spend it with my precious Winter..
im missing my sleeping hours ..my 8-10 hour of sleep haha
so far my schedule looks good..7 days straight of work haha. it's gonna kill me but hey that's $$$ haha

my cousins stayed at marriott for the whole weekend and we stayed with them the whole time...i will be posting pictures and more stories later..

It's been only 2 weeks and it seems like he's been gone for a year. It's not as bad though as compared to his previous deployments. I deal with sadness & loneliness better now. Windy Alternative

update

• I took Winter back to Tripler yesterday for the follow up check..Dr said it might not be an uti..hopefully not..so just waiting for the lab results.


• Finally I got a call for my job..I might start soon..yey!


• Been really busy with life in general...i go in the afternoon to the family's business (catering & sewing)...help a little bit...drop of my little sister to school every morning (we leave as early as possible to beat traffic)..drive her to kumon..to her hula practice..and her shows..and drive relatives whenever they needed a ride or anything (yup dakilang Winnie haha)


• The reason why we went home to Manila was to see our Uncle (my Mom's only brother) - he was diagnosed with Cancer around June - it was malignant already. He was already weak when we got to see him but still can talk (not clear anymore). He passed away couple of days ago Sept 21st at the age of 52. He is a Dentist. He left behind a wife (which happened to be my Auntie - my Dad's 1st cousin) & 2 kids (12 & 17). I will surely miss him. I'm just glad that I get to see him and was able to talk stories with him like we used to do when i was younger. Please pray for his soul.

This is the last pic with my Uncle..it was even funny that we took this picture about 4 times because he didnt' like the angle. I will cherish all the memories. I never told you, but I love you Tito Dante. May your soul rest in peace.

My Winter...

I was busy this weekend and plus Winter got very sick and took her to the ER last night. She threw up 5 times in 7 hours with a fever of 100.9F. As always I waited 2 hours to be seen and another 2 hours for the test and results. (This is at Tripler Army Medical Center - Hawaii). Doctor said she might have an uti, so there's a follow up check tomorrow at the pediatrics. Hope everything is okay with her and that antibiotics can cure it. My poor baby was so kawawa the whole day. After the suppository tylenol, fell asleep for couple of hours and she felt better when she got up. As soon as she woke up she asked for crackers and tubig. I will update more tomorrow. But for now i want to do this, saw this from someone, but accidentally closed the window before i even get her url.

"Learning Alphabets, Numbers, Shapes, Colors & More"

Not to brag about my daughter..I just want to share how proud I am for my Winter everytime she learn something new..

At 1 1/2 yr old she can identify basic colors & shapes and few letters. she can name animals

At 2, she can identify all the letters, she can point & say body parts (in english & tagalog) - ulo, buhok, kilay, pisngi, tenga, ulo, ngipin, leeg, siko etc. She can name animals & sounds they make - including monkey, horse & elephant.

At 2 1/2 - she mastered counting 1-10 (in english, tagalog, spanish) & 1-5 (in japanese). She can identify from zero - ten (even trying to count up to 20)
She can name other shapes like octagon & hexagon. She can identify blue green, & yellow green. She knows her name, my name, daddy's name. grandparents names. her birthdate, place of birth, and the year when she was born - year of the rooster.

At 2 yrs & 9 months - she's trying to write letters (she can make 'W' & shapes (circle, triangle & square). she can make a smiley face, draw a balloon & lollipop.

She lovesssss to read books (before going to bed we read "a" book..but we always end up reading 3-5 books -some short & long stories). She loves to draw, color and paint. Thank God that she got her brains from her Daddy & not from me haha.

Speaking of....We miss Daddy a lot..he finally left for his deployment..it's been 2 months that we've been apart (though he came here to visit us for the Labor day weekend - he was only here for 48 hrs - will make another post with 'a weekend with daddy')..it's been 1 week that he left the States..I still have 11 months & 3 weeks to go...I hope time flies that we get to see Daddy again...

from our short trip to Manila...our cousins took us out to Tiendesitas but unfortunately the weather wasn't that cooperating with us that day haha. Umulan ba naman! pero sige pasyal pa din. (It rained but we still went out.) Here are some pictures...

Pictures from Avilon Zoo, the zoo was really small (compared to the San Diego Zoo, we had an annual pass - will do a different post about it) but Avilon had some interesting animals.
To end our day..we decided to watch a movie. Opo FTFT (For the first time) haha. Yes, 1st day of showing watch kami. Hmm jologs ba? Wait wag ka sa Greenbelt 3 kami nanood! LOL. The movie was OK. There wasn't a chemistry between KC & Richard. But it was interesting to watch a movie where you can bring whatever food you want. You can choose your seat when you buy your ticket and there were phone charging station! haha. Naloka ako! Sabi sa inyo eh sobrang lost ako sa Manila. hello everyone..wala lang..eto bored pero tinatamad pa rin mag update ng kwento at pictures. wala pa rin pera kase wala pa rin trabaho haha.

Aug 21st to Aug 30th lang ako sa pinas.
family emergency lang, my uncle is sick and we went home to see him lang. then just took the opportunity to see some friends.
it was a short trip..wish i couldve stayed longer. missed family & friends a lot after 10 years. Manila looked so different from the time i left. Grabe i was lost, para akong nasa ibang lugar haha.
Hopefully i can come home again soon...sana hindi abutin ng 10 years ulit. I will post more pictures later on..
